How you can help

HEROES OF HOPE- How 13 teachers helped their students and themselves after a natural disaster that nearly destroyed their nation in one day is a must read. This book is research-based. Strengths of the research were grounded in the idea of linking teachers’ self-efficacy in instructional strategies, student engagement, and classroom management as three significant domains specific to teaching efficacy following the 2010 Haiti earthquake. The first of its kind, it brings alive how the phenomena of teachers’ self- efficacy plays a key role in effective teaching and learning. It is a unique tool that informs not only educators worldwide but anyone looking at self-improvement. The findings apply to any catastrophic situation including gun violence and the global pandemic COVID-19.
